From Soft Furnishings to Fabric Design

With 25 years in upholstery, curtains, and soft furnishings, I’ve worked with fabric in just about every way you can imagine. But I kept running into the same problem: the designs available didn’t excite me. So I started making my own.

It began with a painted Roman blind. Then I made some cushions. I loved the process — the hands-on creativity, the freedom to design exactly what I wanted. So I kept going.

Now I create original fabric designs in small, hand-printed runs. It’s still about making things that feel personal, practical, and a bit special.

Why do I do this?

I do this because I see the world in shapes, patterns, and possibilities. A curve, a corner, a petal — they spark ideas. Designing fabric lets me turn those sparks into something real. It’s creative, hands-on, and endlessly satisfying. And it means I can offer people something personal — fabric that speaks to them, that fits their project, their style, their story.
